Task:
Complete the health and social care booklet focusing on case studies and 4 key exam questions.
Why is this required for September?
The 2 exams which you complete at the end of Y12 are based on application to case studies and you developing your ability to apply new theories to these.

For your coursework units you will be expected to complete your own research from credible sources so we are wanting to see how you approach research.

What Assessment/Feedback should you expect?
You should expect whole class feedback on each of the questions so that you are clear about ways to improve your application skills.

You will need the following in your folder to support a smooth start to Y12:

·         Dividers

·         Plastic wallets

·         Blank revision cards

You may also find punched plastic wallet pockets useful for storing revision cards (see image)

How will this link to independent study tasks in September?
As part of independent study in September you will be expected to complete essay plans and exam questions. In addition to this, you will be expected to spend time revising key theories and then applying them to novel scenarios.
