Application process
The application process for the Sixth Form starts in June of Year 10 when we host the Sixth Form Open evening for internal and external students. Students and parents will have the opportunity to talk to staff from all subjects about the A Level and BTEC courses on offer here at All Saints’. There will also be student led tours of the Sixth Form area. The event also marks the opening of the application window, with a link to the online form being provided on the evening and subsequently sent to the student’s school email address.

Once students have submitted applications, they will be invited to an interview with a senior member of staff or the Sixth Form team, in which students will discuss option choices and aspirations. Following these interviews, students may be made a conditional offer subject to the grades they achieve in their GCSE’s.
Timeline for applications:
June (Year 10) Open Evening.
Application window opens.
September (mid-end) initial application window deadline.
October – interviews start.
December – Question and answer sessions with current sixth form students.
January to March- some students may request follow up discussions regarding option choices.
June – Induction event, students are invited to attend a range of taster lessons and interact with the current Sixth Form students. Transition tasks and activities will be available to support a smooth transition to the demands of Post 16 study.
August – GCSE results days, internal applicants will receive their results with a formal offer letter which outlines the next steps and final offer the school is able to make to the students. Once these have been received, students should confirm option choices and follow the instructions in this letter. Students may be required to discuss their option choices further.
September – Enrolment and courses start.
