CAD 3D fusion 360 require for NEA project
Product design requires students to have certain skills in CAD 2d (Tec soft) & 3D (fusion) start to start the course on an equal level. This scheme of lessons will teach basic level functionality in the 3D software that is use to design components and products in the A level product design course. |
What Assessment/Feedback should you expect? |
Design shapes leveled to marking criteria. This is so the class teacher can see what work
needs to be done at the start of the course before the content starts. |

The time taken on these tasks will be dependent upon how confident you are with the CAD. No more than a few hours should be spent on this however. Tutorials demonstrate all functions assessed.
· Setting up Fusion 360 account · Sketching 2D shapes · Extruding 3D forms · Offset plane -Mirror · Shell shape · Revolve · Chamfer-fillet · Save file- export STL |
