Personal Development

“I have come in order that you might have life —life in all its fullness.” ~John 10:10

“The Personal Development [PSHE] and Relationships and Sex Education [RSE] programmes aim to deliver our young people an education, encouraging students to live life, in all its fullness.”

Personal Development

At All Saints’, our Personal Development programme is a vital expression of our mission:
“Through Catholic values and principles, every person at All Saints’ will achieve their full potential: spiritually, academically, socially, morally and physically.”

Rooted in the teachings of Christ and inspired by the All Saints’ Way, our programme nurtures the whole person. We aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and virtues they need to flourish in life and faith, and to become active, responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.

At the heart of our curriculum is the belief that each person is made in the image and likeness of God. This understanding shapes every aspect of our approach, ensuring that students are supported to grow in dignity, confidence, and purpose.

Personal Development Curriculum

Our Personal Development programme is outlined in the document above.

We address real-life issues that affect individuals, families, and communities, always through the lens of our Living Faith community. Lessons are designed to be inclusive, respectful, and engaging, with clear ground rules to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and reflect on their own growth.

Through this programme, we strive to form young people who are:

  • Spiritually grounded, encountering Christ daily through prayer, kindness, and justice
  • Morally aware, guided by Catholic teaching in their choices and relationships
  • Socially responsible, contributing to a welcoming and respectful school community
  • Academically and personally ambitious, striving to reach their full God-given potential

This is the All Saints’ Way—a path of faith, learning, and service that prepares our students to live life to the full and be witnesses of Christ in the world.
