Dear Parents and Carers
The Year 9 Progress Evening for Parents will take place on Wednesday 19th June from 16.15pm until 19.15pm; this will be conducted via video appointments. It is a wonderful opportunity to speak to your child’s teachers about the progress your child is making.
You will be able to book appointments from 11th June 2024.
We are using a piece of software provided through School Cloud and you can access the booking system through the following link: https://allsaintsmansfield.schoolcloud.co.uk/
Using the School Cloud Website
Parents and Carers, with School Cloud access, are those individuals who will have listed as Priority One and Two contacts on the admission form at the beginning of the academic year. It will be parents and guardians who have parental responsibility and that includes those with a court order in place. It is important that both first and surname, and your child’s name and date of birth is inputted in the same way that it is on the school system. If you are struggling to login, it may be because you are not listed as a Priority One or Two contact, do not have parental responsibility including a court order, or because there is spelling or numerical error on our system. In any of these cases, please contact, Mrs Scott with the nature of the problem: scott.l@allsaints.notts.sch.uk.
By having both Priority One and Two contacts, it means that parents/ carers, who may live separately, can both be involved in finding out about their child’s progress.
At login, you will be asked for an email address; this is not authenticated with the email address that you listed on your child’s admission form at the start of the year; it is merely for School Cloud to send a confirmation email to you when you have successfully booked and saved your appointments.
The instructions at the end of the letter outline how to access the website in order to book appointments. Then, on the evening of your appointments, you will simply need to login using the same link and follow the onscreen instructions to begin the appointments you have booked.
There will a button stating: Join Video Appointments which you should press.
There is nothing to install as the video appointments run through the School Cloud website and it is compatible with the following web browsers:
• iPhone/iPad: Safari
• Android: Chrome or Firefox
• Windows: Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (latest version only)
• Mac: Safari, Chrome, or Firefox
The minimum requirement for this software to work is an audio connection.
The appointments will be four minutes long. There will be a countdown. The appointment cannot be extended; when the countdown gets to zero, the software automatically stops the call.
The appointment begins at the allotted time of booking; therefore, if you are late, you can join within the remaining time of the four minutes, however, the appointment cannot be extended. If the appointment is missed, there is no way to rearrange this.
You will see a schedule for the timing of the appointments along with the teacher’s name and there will be a large square which states Start Appointment; in order to begin the appointment, you have to press this. The video appointment will begin when the teacher also presses this.
Once a call has finished, the schedule will update and then the next call will need to be initiated. There is no need to sign in or out.
Then at the end of all scheduled appointments, a confirmation button indicating that the appointments have finished will show and prompt you to sign out.

This year’s Rewards Day will take place on Friday 12 July 2024.
An Invitation has been sent via Arbor to the Parents/Carers of students who have qualified for this event giving details of the level of status their child has achieved and a choice of activities available to them.
Full details of each off-site activity are contained in the OV3 General Briefing Sheets attached to the Invitation and can also be viewed on the school website and Facebook.
- Platinum & Gold Achievers are invited to select one from the following activities on offer:
Alton Towers, Ninja Warrior, Ice-skating, Superbowl or Picnic in the Park
- Silver Achievers are invited to select one from the following activities on offer:
Ice-skating, Superbowl or Picnic in the Park
- Bronze Achievers will have the sole choice of Picnic in the Park
What to do next…
Please follow the instructions contained in your Invitation.
Please note that some of the off-site trips have limited places available so applications for these will be run on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. To ensure fairness to all, trip accounts will ‘go live’ and will be opened on Arbor tomorrow evening (Tuesday 11 June 2024) at 7.00 pm. The deadline for registering on Arbor is 5.00 pm on Friday 28 June 2024, but in the cases where there are a limited number of places on offer, the trip accounts will close automatically on Arbor once the allocated number of places has been filled.
Please ensure you are happy with your choice as your selection cannot be changed once it is registered on Arbor.
Students who have registered for one of the off-site activities will need to complete and return to Reception as soon as possible the relevant OV4 Consent & Medical Form which is attached to the Invitation. Paper copies of this form will also be available from Reception.
Students who are successful in securing a place on the Ninja Warrior trip, will also be required to complete a Waiver in order for their child to participate in that activity. Parents/Carers will be issued with the Waiver once the trip list has been established on Arbor.
The school reserves the right to withdraw students from activities should their behaviour fall short of expectations and any monies paid will not be refunded. If a student withdraws from a trip due to positive Covid-19 testing or any other reason, applications for refunds will be dealt with on an individual basis.
Dear Parents/ Carers
I would like to begin by commending students for the way in which they have approached their examinations and for their exemplary conduct throughout the exam season. I have been incredibly impressed by the vast majority of students who have demonstrated an unrelenting commitment to their education throughout their five-year journey at All Saints’. They have been a wonderful year group made up of thoroughly honest, creative and dynamic young people.
I would like to officially inform you that today is the final day for Year 11. After Thursday 6 June, students will no longer be required to come into school unless of course, they are scheduled to sit an examination. Some subject areas will continue to offer breakfast revision sessions (8.00am – 8.45am); however, there will not be any normal timetabled lessons.
If your child has a morning and afternoon examination, and your child wishes to stay in school in between examinations, or if they are waiting for a bus at the end of the day, a study room will be provided in order to allow your child to revise independently. If students do leave site, they cannot come back throughout the day and of course those staying in school need to display the highest levels of conduct or they will have access to the site, other than during exams, removed.
We are looking forward to welcoming many of our students to the Sixth Form induction days on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th June. Attendance at this event is expected for students who are considering All Saints’ as a firm or insurance choice; these will be a valuable two days which will support students with the transition to Sixth Form study.
We would be extremely grateful to receive any unwanted uniform, so if you are in a position to donate uniform, we will happily collect donations at reception. The following uniform items will be particularly useful: trousers, ties, PE hoodies and blazers. Additionally, if your child purchased a leavers’ hoodie, these will be available for collection on results day and information regarding results day will be released in due course.
Finally, thank you for your continued support over the past five years. We wish your child every success in the future and we look forward to welcoming many of our students back in September as they embark on their next stage in education here at All Saints’ Sixth Form.
Best wishes to you all,
Carlo Cuomo
Head Teacher
We are incredibly proud of all the students and staff this week as we celebrated two beautiful Masses.
Yesterday, we shared a whole school Mass for the Feast of the Ascension, where the Chaplaincy Team and choir led beautifully, livestreamed from the chapel.
Today, we shared the final Mass for Year 11, who were fantastic in their leadership, participation and reverence in Mass.
Our thanks to all who ministered in any way, especially Canon John, who serves our school and parish community with such dedication.

Safeguarding message

To celebrate, there have been a range of different book related activities taking place in school.
Each lesson began with a story being shared with the children. As the children moved through the day they heard more of the story before finally hearing the ending at the start of period 5. There were a few gasps when we finally found out what had happened to Eric!
During tutor time, The Masked Reader was shown and each tutor group had to try and work out who was hiding behind the mask and the book they were reading from. The Book Swap event during lunch was well attended with children exchanging books and chatting about their favourite reads.
We also announced the winners of the Book in a Box competition. There were some fantastic entries! In first place was Aoife with a wonderful disco complete with lights. In 2nd place was Jack with a very detailed football stadium also complete with lights.
World Book Day is a wonderful day to remind us all of the joy of books and reading. We hope the children have enjoyed the day.
