The Year 10 mock interviews took place at the Civic Centre today.
Embodying the Catholic Social Teaching Principle of Participation, our Year 10 students have worked incredibly hard by completing application forms as though applying for a real job and attending a 15-minute interview in front of an employer.
We were fortunate to have 13 volunteers from a wide range of sectors, and the feedback from them was outstanding. They spoke highly of our student’s professionalism, preparation, and engagement throughout. The students truly excelled themselves and represented our community exceptionally well.
Of the students seen today, 33 achieved scores of 9 or higher out of 10 across their application and interview. In addition, the interviewers identified 18 students who exceeded expectations to such an extent they would have been offered the job. Well done to these students and to all who took part.
