Year 9 Jubilee Mass

On Friday 25 April, Caritas House – Y9 were the final year group to share in their walk to Mass for their Jubilee Pilgrimage of this academic year. The young people were a credit to the school. Our school chapel has been open daily and students have been writing prayers in honour of Pope Francis. Whilst in Mass with Y9 today, we prayed for Pope Francis, bringing all of the prayers from our school community with us. This afternoon, each student in school has taken home a prayer card containing ‘Prayers Upon the Death of Pope Francis’ to share with you at home. This is an important time for our Church, school and parish communities to come together to pray for Pope Francis, who has been an inspiration to all of us in some way. A message from the clergy, plus times of prayer in the parish of Our Lady and All Saints are below.
Requiescat in pace.
We mourn the passing of Pope Francis
but rejoice in his entrance to our Father’s house.
He has certainly gone to God with his hands full and will be hearing the words of His Beloved Lord and Master
“Well done, good and faithful servant
enter into the home of your Father.”
Holy Father, Pope Francis, may you rest in Peace and Rise in glory.
