Congratulations to all students who took part in both Challenge 29 in May and Challenge 25 in July! Students were challenged to attend school for 29 days between Easter and May half term and an incredible 674 students completed this! Challenge 25 took place between May half term and the start of July and this time 573 students completed the challenge. Students either had 100% or very low authorised absences e.g. medical appointments.
Students really embraced the challenges and it got us all talking about the importance of attendance. Not only that but we saw an increase in attendance rates against same periods in the previous academic year, which is fantastic!
Students were rewarded with extended break times, entry into a prize draw and a visit from the ice cream van!
Look out for more challenges in 2026-27!
