This year’s results show a 39% improvement in students achieving 5 good GCSEs since 2007 and a 20% improvement in those achieving 5 good GCSEs including Maths and English. A remarkable achievement!

It is a notable achievement that the number of students achieving the very highest grades of A*/A has risen for the second successive year to 22.5% and is now above the national average figure of 21%.

Mrs Maureen Cobbett, Headteacher, said “We are absolutely over the moon with our fantastic examination results. They are a testimony to the hard work of both staff and students working together to achieve the very best. I recognise that this could not have been done without the full support of parents. I would also like to thank the Governors and parishes of All Saints’ School who have given the school such tremendous support.

All Saints’ is a school where students come first and are given every opportunity to achieve their full potential.   However, we will not be complacent as this is a school which is going places and I am confident we will achieve even greater success in the coming years.”

A Level Results

Top 7 students secure 20A*/A grades between them!

Our students  have had another tremendous year in their A Levels. Many students exceeded expectations, especially at the higher grades of A*/A and A/B grades, which is a mark of the hard work and determination of the students and the dedication and support provided by their teachers.

Mr Barrie Meloy, Director of Sixth Form, said “I am very pleased for our students who have done very well. Their achievements are as a direct result of the commitment, determination and hard work of both staff and students with the support of parents and governors – a great team effort!”

There were a significant number of high achievers including: Michael Scally 2A* and 1 A, Rebecca Fear 1 A*, 1A and 1B, Ella Davis 1A* and 2As, Lydia Flower 4As and Mark Rowland 3As and 1B.

We wish all of our students well in their future destination and look forward to hearing about their continued success in the future.”
